In 1996, a state-of-the-art processing facility was completed to expand capabilities in processing quality and efficiency. Our thermal processing system, the first of its kind in North America, uses a " Dutch-oven " style retort technology to optimize the nutritional and physical quality of our products. This new plant was designed and constructed in adherence to the sanitation standards of the American Institute of Baking, regarded as the highest standards in the world.
The facility and its products are federally inspected by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the United States.
